What a great surprise to find this delightful little townhouse. From the moment I booked, the pre arrival service was outstanding. On arrival I was amazed at the little extra touches. A welcome gift. A sandwich for hungry travellers and personal messages that just brought a smile to my face. Outstanding service levels
I was really impressed with all the little things this establishment did. From the small complimentary sandwiches and fully stocked fridge, the tea trolley with a newspaper and biccys, to the fortnum and mason jam gift and all the handwritten notes! No one does it like this and it felt very welcoming! Please never change!
Amazing service! I had a one night stay on 11 Feb - 12 Feb. The rooms had a unique feel and I loved every minute of it. The handwritten cards give an extra touch that I've never experienced before. Thanks again, Matt.
Plus points.... Great location, reasonably priced compared to other options, attentive staff, nice little touches like complimentary drinks in the fridge, tea trolley in the morning and a gift (raspberry jam!). Decor is quirky and makes a refreshing change from the usual boring hotel room. Room was equipped with microwave, kettle, fridge, hair dryer, reasonably sized television. Complimentary eye masks and ear plugs by the bed. Bad points... The room, particularly the bathroom was very small, I felt claustrophobic in the bathroom! Inadequate ventilation in the bathroom, everything gets wet. The bed seemed to be a small double, we have a super king at home so I suppose most beds will feel small compared to ours. Would we stay here again? Possibly. We were in town for a west end show and didn't want to pay west end hotel prices, this hotel being a short walk from Kings Cross makes it very convenient. I cannot stress enough how much we appreciated the staff and all the extra little touches, it is all very thoughtful and for that reason alone I would consider staying here again, depending on price and availability and our reasons for being in London, of course.
What an absolutely wonderful stay, Communication before was impeccable asking all the right questions. When we arrived we got there earlier than check in time, however nothing was too much trouble they took our bags in and when we went back they were safely in our room. When we arrived there was a fully stocked fridge a little gift and some sandwiches.. when we got up in the morning was a tea trolly outside our room with 2 small pots of tea and a snack(lovely touch) with a note wishing us a wonderful day. The room had all the facilities in as well. The staff were truly magnificent and welcoming and on our departure this morning we were greeted by a smiling happy Mir who sent us safely on our way and hoped we would be back soon... which we will Thank you rokxy hotel xxxx
Stayed for one night for a business trip and chose this due to location which is ideal as only 5 minute walk from Kings Cross station. Selected the Kings Suite which is located on the lower ground floor and even has a small outdoor space. The room is very good in size and has a 3 person table, double bed, seating area and small kitchen area. There is a large wet room and the decor is excellent. The real standout is the customer service. There are so many little things that they do (and don’t have to) which makes them stand well above others.From the personalised hand-written card and gift, to the complimentary food and drink in the room, to the morning tea trolley with newspaper etc that is waiting for you at your door in the morning. It really does make a difference and nothing is too much trouble. Mir is a superstar! So friendly and helpful and can’t do any more for you. Thanks Mir! Also a huge 5 stars for the communication you receive in the build up to your stay. Emails; texts and WhatsApps making sure you have everything you need, not only for a personal welcome and smooth checkin, but also with recommendations for places to visit or eat at locally. The customer service is above pretty much most other hotels. Well done Team Rokxy!
We had a lovely stay here. The staff laid out birthday balloons for us, which was such a nice touch! They filled the fridge with drinks and snacks which was complimentary. We even got a tea trolley in the morning with teapots which was lovely. Mir was so lovely and attentive. The staff couldnt have done more! The room itself was quirky and filled with nice decor too.
Great stay at the Rokxy. Service was incredible- amazing attention to detail and extra treats that make you feel very cared for. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. Location is ace and very quiet and comfy sleep. Thoroughly recommend and will stay again! Thank you Rokxy team!
